Keeping the Faith and Keeping It Real
Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith. - Henry Ward Beecher, Social Reformer
Here at True Citrus we’ve blogged about how our all natural flavors can help you with weight loss, better health and exercise.
But today we want to talk about something less tangible that True Citrus flavors can help with.
That’s faith. Yes, we’re serious. Because losing weight and getting healthier take faith – and quite a lot of it.
It really is about faith and of course about keeping it real. Every time you pour a packet of your favorite True Citrus flavor instead of opening a can of sugary cola, you’re saying you have faith that better food choices will lead to your goal: a slimmer and more chemical-free, healthy body. It takes faith to trust that if you leave the processed drinks behind and eat and drink more naturally, you’ll feel and look better – maybe better than ever before!
And it takes faith to believe that you will be rewarded for making different choices. Not just by weight loss, but also by not having to worry so much about weight-related illnesses like stroke, diabetes and hypertension.
Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe. St. Peter Julian Eymard, Catholic Saint
At True Citrus, we believe in having faith. In fact, the whole reason we’re here because of faith.
First, it took faith to believe we could do something that had never been done before: turn real citrus fruit into crystals that could be used anywhere, with no spoilage or mess. And created without nasty chemicals or unnecessary sugar.
And that faith (and blind optimism!) is why today we have not only True Lemon to share, but all natural True Orange, True Lime and True Grapefruit, as well as the True Lemon Iced Tea and True Lemonades. All recommended by doctors, pediatricians, nutritionists and weight loss experts.
Second, it took faith that people would find out about a small company’s products in the midst of the marketing noise created by huge, multi-national food corporations with huge advertising budgets.
And today, we’re closing in on 75,000 Facebook friends and have national distribution in many major grocery stores. And we just started our first ever TV ad campaign!
There’s still a long road ahead for our little company on Yellow Brick Road in Baltimore. Little companies come and go. But we keep trucking because we also have faith that people like you want better options that are kinder to your bodies than sodas and other sugary, artificial drinks can be.
So in closing, thank you! Thank you for sticking with us, for getting the word out about True Citrus’ all natural, chemical-free drink choices, and most of all, for rewarding our faith with yours.
“As your faith is strengthened you will find that there is no longer the need to have a sense of control, that things will flow as they will, and that you will flow with them, to your great delight and benefit.” Emmanuel Teney Professor of Psychiatry at Wayne State, Detroit, Michigan
